{"id":716,"date":"2017-01-25T18:52:17","date_gmt":"2017-01-26T00:52:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.coolcrestpoa.org\/?p=716"},"modified":"2017-01-25T18:52:17","modified_gmt":"2017-01-26T00:52:17","slug":"minutes-for-jan-10-2017-poa-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.coolcrestpoa.org\/?p=716","title":{"rendered":"Minutes for Jan. 10, 2017 POA Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Meeting was held at the Christian Family Baptist Church and was called to order at 7:32 PM by President Eldon Rhodes.<\/p>\n<p>Minutes from the November 8, 2016 meeting were read and approved.<\/p>\n<p>Treasurer\u2019s report was read and approved.<\/p>\n<p>.<strong><u>Old Business<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Christmas lights were put up at the entrance.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>New Business<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Plans were reviewed and approved for new home construction at 12054 Grapevine<\/p>\n<p>An email request was made by the realtor for the\u00a0buyers of the property at 12133 Madrona for clarification that a duplex\/apartment could be built on this lot.\u00a0\u00a0An email response\u00a0was sent citing the deed restriction for single family home construction only.\u00a0 They then asked if the lot could be sub-divided and a response was sent\u00a0stating that sub-dividing must be approved by the board and with 10 foot restrictions on each side that would not leave enough room for a home.<\/p>\n<p>Flea market dates for 2017\u00a0are April 1 and October 7.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Open Forum<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A letter was sent last year informing the owner of the old El Gato property on Potranco\u00a0 Rd. that firework stands are not allowed in the subdivision.\u00a0\u00a0A fireworks stand was set up there again this year and Eldon talked with the property owner who was in the hospital at the time.\u00a0 The owner said he would get back with Eldon in 2 weeks.\u00a0 Due to there being only 3 days left in the year, taking legal was not feasible.\u00a0 If no response, Eldon will contact him again.<\/p>\n<p>Juan Estrada, property owner on Grapevine has 3 lots and wants to put mobile homes on them.\u00a0 Richard advised him of the deed restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>Floor opened for nominations for POA officers.\u00a0 Nominations were:<\/p>\n<p>President &#8211; Eldon Rhodes, V Pres &#8211; Richard Garza, Secretary &#8211; Linda Patillo, Treasurer- Tracy Pickering, and Sgt At Arms &#8211; Kevin Pickering.<\/p>\n<p>No opposing nominations were made.\u00a0 Vote taken and all officers unanimously elected.<\/p>\n<p>Next meeting will be March 14, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Meeting adjourned at 7:56 PM<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meeting was held at the Christian Family Baptist Church and was called to order at 7:32 PM by President Eldon Rhodes.
