{"id":553,"date":"2015-03-18T09:55:59","date_gmt":"2015-03-18T15:55:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.coolcrestpoa.org\/?p=553"},"modified":"2015-03-18T09:55:59","modified_gmt":"2015-03-18T15:55:59","slug":"minutes-for-the-mar-10-2015-poa-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.coolcrestpoa.org\/?p=553","title":{"rendered":"Minutes for the Mar. 10, 2015 POA Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Meeting was held at the Christian Family Baptist Church and was called to order at 7:35 PM by President Frank Partee.<\/p>\n<p>Minutes from the Jan. 13, 2015 meeting were read &amp; approved<\/p>\n<p>Treasurer&#8217;s report was read &amp; approved<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><\/span><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Old<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> Business<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Potranco road expansion now slated to start\u00a0the end of April or May<\/p>\n<p>Plans for the house at 12205 Poinciana were submitted by Mr. Blas Ortiz but failed to provide on which lot the house is located or the boundaries to the front and side of the lot.\u00a0 Frank will draft a response asking for this information.<\/p>\n<p>A bin to hold\u00a0the deed restrictions was attached to the bulletin board.<\/p>\n<p>Flea Market Dates were set for Apr 11, May 2, Jun 6, Sep 12, Oct 3, and Nov 7 weather permitting. Linda will get the dates to Potranco Automotive.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><\/strong><strong>New<\/strong><strong> Business<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Letter will\u00a0be sent to Ms. Bertha Encino regarding the house under construction at 12118 Poinciana.\u00a0 Waiver previously granted has expired and house has not been completed.<\/p>\n<p>Deed Restriction sign will be put on the bulletin board.<\/p>\n<p>Trash pickup and taking down the Christmas lights will be Saturday, Mar 14 at 9:00 AM.\u00a0 Linda will send email asking for volunteers<\/p>\n<p>Discussion held regarding the update of the bylaws.\u00a0 A majority of a quorum (15% of property owners is a quorum) is needed at 2 consecutive meetings.\u00a0 Nothing decided so there will be further discussion at next meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Discussion held on deed restriction changes.\u00a0 Some deed restrictions are outdated and any changes would not affect current property owners.\u00a0 Attorney stated that 51% of property owners would be needed for these changes.\u00a0 Frank thought state law said 75% so research needed to clarify this.\u00a0 Further discussion will be at next meeting.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Open Forum<\/strong><\/span><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Frank reminded everyone to follow the rules and wait to speak until recognized by the chair and everyone else to remain silent.<\/p>\n<p>Tracy asked if anyone had ideas for making money besides the Flea Market.\u00a0 Museum mentioned but it is too costly. Car wash not possible with current water restrictions.\u00a0 Frank suggested contacting SWWC to add a request to our water bills asking for $1 per month donation.\u00a0 Linda will contact SWWC.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. &amp; Mrs. Guillauden asked if plans for building a storage &amp; carport must be submitted for approval.\u00a0 Per Deed Restriction #5, they do.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Hernandez, owner of property at 12154 Manzanita, asked if she could get a waiver on completion of her house due to problems encountered this past year.\u00a0 She will submit email request for the board to consider.<\/p>\n<p>Next Meeting is May 12, 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Meeting adjourned at 8:35 PM<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meeting was held at the Christian Family Baptist Church and was called to order at 7:35 PM by President Frank Partee.
